Private workshops
Because a workshop request is not a confirmed booking, there is nothing to cancel until Van Buren Creates has confirmed your date in writing. Once a date is confirmed, the notice period and any deposit terms will be stated in your written confirmation.
Public events
Each public event page shows its own cancellation information. If Van Buren Creates cancels an event, registered guests are notified by email at the address used to register.
Unpaid or abandoned registrations
Seats reserved during checkout are released automatically if payment is not completed within the hold window, so the seats return to the public count.
Rentals
Rental change and cancellation windows are handled through the rental store at checkout. The refundable security and damage deposit is addressed in the security deposit policy.
Weather and safety
If weather or a safety concern makes an outdoor or travel-based session unsafe, we will work with you to reschedule.
